Before School Program
What, Where, and When Is It?
During the 2009-2010 academic year, the Winchester Recreation Department is extremely pleased to offer a new pilot program to the Lynch Elementary community.
Beginning in September, the Lynch Elementary Before School Program will be available for students in Kindergarten through Grade 5 each day, from 7:15 to 8:15 a.m.
In this innovative program, two caring Winchester Recreation staff members will provide a supervised setting in which Lynch children will have an opportunity to read, play table games, do arts and crafts projects, or review their school work. The program will take place in either the Lynch library or gym throughout the course of the week.
The program will begin on Wednesday, September 2 (The second day of school). The Lynch Elementary Before School program will follow the Winchester Public School calendar. The program will not be in session when school is closed or has a delayed opening. The running of this program is contingent on a minimum course enrollment of 10, full-time students each day. If interested, please register early to ensure that the program will occur.
How do I sign up?
The Lynch Elementary Before School Program will offer either a 3 day and or a 5 day a week option for the entire school year. Participants must be enrolled in the Kid Care program, have filed their paperwork, paid the registration fee and paid at least the first and last monthly tuition payments before attending the Lynch Elementary Before School Program.
What are the Fees and due dates?
Monthly payments are made though automatic credit card payment only. The first payment is due June 1, 2009 and will cover both the September 2009 and June 2010 tuition payments. Subsequent monthly payments will begin October 1, 2009 for eight months.
If someone withdraws from the program after July 1, 2009, the June 1, 2010 payment is forfeited, unless we can fill the participant’s spot. Additional children in a family may attend at 75% of the cost for full-year Registration.
